The liaison program was created to assist mumms® users in utilizing the programs to their maximum capabilities, thereby building and managing their hospice and palliative care businesses through data management. mumms® Program Liaisons have years of hospice and palliative care experience and are experts at regulatory, clinical, and documentation issues. They have helped create and implement mumms® programs into hospice-specific applications.


Compliance Consulting Level I - Administrative
Includes:
•    Initial and on-going analysis of your hospice or palliative care facility

    o    Demographic and business analysis
    o    Benchmarking
    o    Visit data analysis
    o    Analysis of practice patterns
    o    Identification of “red flags” and potential problem areas
    o    Dashboard reports

•    Consultation and recommendations related to red flags, billing, HIPAA, Medicare, and “Best Practice” data sets
•    Development of goals for improvement
•    Quarterly written reports
•    Web-board training

Compliance Consulting Level II - Clinical
Level II includes all elements in Level I as well as:
•    Non-biased clinical record review utilizing Medicare, State, JCAHO and CHAPs standards
•    QAPI reports and benchmarking results
•    Identification of potential problem areas related to documentation of services provided
•    Recommendations to address areas “outside the norm”
•    Quarterly written reports that can be used as an integral part of the hospice’s QAPI program
•    Materials which can be used for ongoing staff education
