The new ELECTRONIC REMITTANCE ADVICE program extension previewed during the recent User Group meeting in New Orleans is now available for all intermediaries!!!

This program extension imports the electronic 835 remittance advice files retrieved from the intermediary directly into mumms^® and automatically makes all payment and adjustment postings to the patient's Accounts Recievable (AR) record.

The module works as follows:
1. User downloads the 835 files from the intermediary to a file on their PC.
2. From the mumms^® menu, these files are imported into the mumms^® program.
3. User sets the AR posting date and all payments and adjustments are automatically posted to the patient's AR account.
4. Reports are automatically produced detailing all remittance information and mumms^® AR postings.
5. This extension will post the RA Denial Codes if the mumms^® AR Error and Notes extension is activated.

Users no longer have to manually post payments and adjustments!!
