Leo first confirmed his penchant for innovation over 25 years ago when he wrote the first lines of code for a custom medical software program, mumms: multi user medical management system. Before starting mumms, Leo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University and established his CPA credentials with a big three accounting firm. Since 1989, Leo’s keen sense for recognizing technological advances, such as ASP Server hosting, has made mumms Software a leader in the hospice industry. Through Leo's vision guided mumms to utilize “the cloud” more than five years before any other industry developer. Leo's hard work, dedication, and innovative vision mumms has grown to a team of 100 people. The company continues to dedicate itself to delivering cutting-edge software for the hospice and palliative care industry.
Chief Operating Officer
Linda oversees the daily operations of mumms Software. Her hospice experience began in 1975, a time that predates the establishment of Medicare’s Hospice Benefit. She has over ten years of experience as the Chief Financial Officer for a multi-location hospice organization that used mumms Software. Linda has worked with mumms for over 17 years. She started providing staff training and technical support to hospices across the country and quickly became integral to software development. Her critical assistance in the development of CPC pioneered many of the functions the program provides. Linda’s deep hospice experience, and broad understanding of the hospice mission are a resource that no other software system trainer can provide.
Chief Technology Officer
Steve Turoff has been developing software for over 30 years, since the early days of the World Wide Web. Having graduated from Cornell University, he went on to earn a graduate Degree in Industrial Design and User Interfaces at the Pratt Institute. Steve has a wide array of expertise in hands-on development of high-availability, scalable, Internet applications. He has experience designing N-tier Internet applications, researching new technologies, providing recommendations and installing, configuring, training, and rolling out complete solutions.
Chief Financial Officer
Benton received a bachelor’s degree in Business from Mississippi State University and has decades of experience in business startups, acquisitions and mergers. Benton was instrumental in helping Leo form mumms Software in 1989. After leaving mumms Software, Benton founded the first Internet service provider in northwest Florida in 1993. Retired since 1998, Benton came back to mumms Software in 2010 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer for mumms Software.
Chief Administration Officer
Cori has been a part of the mumms Team since 2007. With over a decade of experience in business administration, marketing and sales, she has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the mumms organization. Prior to mumms, she was Director of Marketing and Communications for Special Olympics Louisiana. She has a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism and a Masters in Organizational Communication with a concentration in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Chief Information Officer
Tim Blackmon is a technology-centric executive with an operational and financial acumen that he has acquired through many entrepreneurial ventures. Tim has spent the past 25 years building enterprise software applications and products in the healthcare, insurance and finance domains. He has served as an individual contributor, architect, and executive. He specializes in agile software engineering best practices with global delivery components. He has a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Engineering Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Vice President of Business Development
Mark Bellamy studied English Language and American Literature at Lees-McRae College and the University of South Carolina. He worked for nearly three decades in providing high precision, close tolerance components to OEM’s in the Aviation, Department of Defense Armament, and Nuclear Power Generation industries based in the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2000, he joined the mumms Sales Team. Mark continues to be a crucial mumms Representative for business development, promoting the company’s customer-centric services, and cultivating B2B relationships in support of the Hospice mission.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Jeane Cato brings 18 years of sales experience to mumms Software, spanning the healthcare and high-tech industries. Prior to joining mumms, she was a consultant/marketer for a national hospice company where she gained knowledge and passion for the hospice mission. Jeane believes in providing mumms clients with the same attention, care, and quality service as they provide to their own patients and families. Jeane attributes her success in sales to the marketing and advertising principles she learned early in her career, which help her to bring a true consultative approach to selling. Jeane holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Advertising from LSU in Baton Rouge.

Cindy McCarville Director of Training and Implementation
Cindy McCarville has twenty-five years of experience in developing and implementing quality improvement programs for health care. Cindy has a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology and is certified as a Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator. Prior to joining mumms, Cindy both operated and was Vice President of Compliance at a multi-site hospice with an average daily census over 350, approximately 200 employees, and three free-standing inpatient units. Cindy has provided services to aid several hospice organizations with an array of regulatory and compliance issues, policy and procedure development, ADR response, and CQI monitoring. Because of her expertise in the regulatory field, Cindy was chosen to represent the state of Arizona at the CMS presentation on the proposed CoPs.
Shelia Adams Clinical Liaison
Shelia Adams is a certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, and has been a Registered Nurse for over thirty years. In her seventeen years of hospice experience, she has served as Site Administrator, Clinical Educator, Compliance Officer and Vice President for hospice agencies ranging in size, at locations across the country. Shelia has assisted several start-ups, mid size and large multi-site hospices, with essential functions such as regulatory compliance, clinical processes, and hospice administration. Shelia’s accomplishments include developing a hospice-specific Clinical Education Program, a Clinical Competency Program and co-authoring a comprehensive resource manual for Physicians and Nurses.
Jennifer Wondolowski Trainer
Jennifer Wondolowksi has 22 years of experience in the hospice industry. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Health Administration and brings her diverse industry experience and knowledge to the mumms team. Jennifer’s hospice experience ranges from work with start-up hospices to working for a national hospice provider. She has worked as both an Executive Director and Compliance Officer for various sized hospices. Jennifer's experience also includes CHAP accreditation and project implementation.
Julia Hayes Trainer
Julia has 24 years of experience as a registered nurse and a passion for education and end-of-life care. Her work in hospice ranges from a nurse in the field to director of clinical operations for a multi-state hospice. She holds a certification as a hospice and palliative care administrator and a JACHO accreditation and has extensive experience in quality/compliance and start-up hospices.
Patti Hogan Customer Service Manager
Prior to joining mumms Software in 2000, Patti studied Management Information Systems at Louisiana State University. Patti’s hospice experience is based on a career of daily contact with hospice organizations across the United States and in Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands, and Guam. Patti gained first-hand experience as an owner of a hospice. Her years of experience have given her a keen understanding of the unique needs of hospice and palliative care facilities. Patti was asked to use this unique understanding of hospice and her innate dedication to customer satisfaction to redesign and upgrade mumms Customer Support Services. She now leads mumms user support and quality assurance effort, and is central to the communications between mumms Users and mumms Engineering Staff.
Jill Croy Director of Implementation
Jill has over 20 years experience as an administrative professional, spanning several industries as well as previous business ownership. At mumms, she works directly with the executive team and oversees purchasing, special projects, implementation setup, and the administrative staff. Jill's foresight, organizational skills, and ability to streamline processes keeps the mumms office running optimally. In her spare time solving cryptograms feeds her obsession for putting things in the right order!
Chelsea York Account Manager
Chelsea joined the mumms team in 2013 and has worked in various departments including Administration, Sales, and Marketing. She found that she was most passionate about working directly with our customers to ensure their complete satisfaction, and her outgoing personality paired with strong communication and customer service skills made her a natural fit for this role. Originally from Northern Virginia, Chelsea visited New Orleans in 2007 and loved it so much she moved to the Crescent City in 2008. She enjoys the local music scene, the variety of festivals and events, and, most of all, the food!

Jeff Ivey Director of Engineering
Jeff brings 20 years of software development experience to the engineering team. He has architected and developed Java Enterprise and .Net applications across many verticals, including the airline, banking, marketing, insurance and medical industries. He has track record of managing and delivering projects on time and on budget. Jeff holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelors in Computer Science.
Deepak Rathee Program Manager
Deepak brings 13 years of experience in Project and Program Management to the mumms team. He holds a Masters Degree in both Computer Science and Business Administration. He’s a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certified Scrum Master (CSM). Along with Program Management, Deepak oversees third party software procurements and vendor relationship management. He has vast experience in offshore teams management, and he is more inclined towards the idea of virtual teams. Prior to joining mumms, he worked as a consultant playing various roles from Technical Team Lead, Project Manager, Delivery Manager and Technical Relationship Manager for clients including Rosettastone, IBM, Air Canada, ABN AMRO Bank, European Commission,and Michael Page International. Deepak enjoys working endless hours to help the development teams build a robust and cutting edge software product.
Rosie O'Neill Senior Data Analyst
Rosie brings over 20 years of experience in Data technologies to the mumms team. She specializes in Enterprise Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics. She is thrilled to be living and working in her hometown of New Orleans after spending several decades in Silicon Forest. Prior to joining mumms, she consulted for companies such as Microsoft, Nike, Hewlett-Packard, Getty Images, and Standard Insurance. Rosie oversees the governance, integrity and security of data, where she is building a core competency center for excellence in hospice data analytics. She holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Utah State University and a Bachelor's degrees in Quantitative Business Analysis from LSU.
Jesse Ide Information Technology Manager
A native of New Orleans, Jesse earned a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He worked for the Louisiana Judiciary for eight years as a Systems Administrator, specializing in datacenter systems design, operations, and communications. After four years working for the Louisiana Supreme Court, he was recruited by the Orleans Parish Civil Court to rebuild their computer infrastructure following the real estate records crash of 2010. After completing the modernization of the Civil Court's information systems, Jesse joined mumms in 2015 as a manager for the IT department.
Scott Hinkle Director of Quality Assurance
Scott Hinkle brings 20 years of QA and software development experience to the mumms team. While his focus has been on QA leadership, team building and process reengineering in the later half of his career, the first half was focused around software development and automation. He is an ISTQB certified tester and has implemented various training programs focused around the CTFL. Being able to implement quality practices throughout an organization is his passion. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems from Auburn University. He is a recent transplant to New Orleans and originally hailed from Birmingham, Alabama.
Lev Shulman Chief Architect
Lev has worked for mumms Software since 2007. He finds developing software that offers a state-of-the-art experience for clients extremely rewarding and enjoys solving challenging technical puzzles. Lev earned a Masters in Computer Science with a concentration in Databases at UNO. He also has a U.S. Patent and has been published in multiple journals.
Candice Quates Engineering Manager
For over a decade, Candice Quates has worked with mumms in different development roles. In addition to healthcare software, Candice has worked on software to support health and safety systems for the offshore oil industry and conducted academic research in information security, resulting in three published papers. She has a degree in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans.

Gina Bivalacqua HR Manager
Gina is an accomplished senior level leader with more than 15 years broad-based experience in Human Resources. Her career includes experience in banking and the hospitality industry working for companies such as Walt Disney World where she earned the prestige Walt Disney World Partners in Excellence award for cast, guest and operational excellence. Gina is a member of the National Society of Human Resources Professionals (SHRM) and NOLA-SHRM Chapter. She maintains her SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) & Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certifications.
Gina proud native of New Orleans and enjoys contributing to her community as a volunteer in a variety of capacities. While volunteering with the Humane Society of Louisiana’s recovery efforts from the 2016 Louisiana flood, she took in a foster dog who now accompanies Gina’s canine buddy, Mojo. And with more than a decade of experience working across the communications spectrum, she understands that a marketer’s job is to test, learn and strive for better results.
Shira has increased social media and email newsletter engagement for nonprofit organizations and national brands, secured media coverage in outlets including NOLA.com, NPR, USA Today and The Washington Post and received a Judges’ Award Addy from the New Orleans American Advertising Federation. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in history and advertising from the University of Florida.
