As President and CEO of mumms Software, Leo Radosta focuses on business and product development. In his role as Scrum Product Owner, he communicates his vision for the software and optimizes the work the Development Team performs by sharing with the group his considerable knowledge and experience throughout every step of the process.
Leo has served the hospice community for nearly 30 years by channeling technological innovations into software that supports hospices from the time of referral through the bereavement process. Leo began mumms Software with just a few lines of code and has steered and overseen its transformation into the revolutionary Hummingbird platform. This software offers many hospice-industry firsts such as ClearScripts, and ClearSight. Banking on his background in finance, and his early career as a CPA, Leo created and shaped the Hummingbird’s billing engine, ClearPay. Its ground-breaking integrations offer real-time patient eligibility, status of claims, and so much more to streamline protocols and practices, demonstrating Leo’s ability to recognize and offer creative solutions for the latent needs of the industry before anyone else.
Leo does not operate just as a vendor in the hospice space. In 2013, he received the M.J. McDonough Award for Distinguished Service to Hospice in recognition for his dedication to the end-of-life mission. He also accepted the Passion for Innovation Award in 2015, which acknowledges individuals who have contributed to the healthcare industry through their dedication to innovation and progress. In 2006, mumms was also recognized for their generous support of the Good Will Institute’s End-of-Life Awareness Symposium. With Leo at the helm, mumms has also been one of 50 recipients of New Orleans’ Best Places to Work award 6 years in a row.
In addition, Leo is an unofficial but effective ambassador for the city of New Orleans, which is where both he as well as mumms Software were born and raised. An avid collector of modern art, Leo is a board member for the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center. Leo is also the proud father of two. His daughter recently earned a Doctorate of Medicine, with honors, and begins her 2nd year of residency at Tulane University Hospital in June 2020. His son, who inherited his father’s entrepreneurial skills, owns and runs a successful brewery in North Carolina.
Chief Operating Officer
Linda oversees the daily operations of mumms Software. Her hospice experience began in 1975, a time that predates the establishment of Medicare’s Hospice Benefit. She has over ten years of experience as the Chief Financial Officer for a multi-location hospice organization that used mumms Software. Linda has worked with mumms for over 17 years. She started providing staff training and technical support to hospices across the country and quickly became integral to software development. Her critical assistance in the development of clinical documentation pioneered many of the functions Hummingbird provides. Linda’s deep hospice experience, and broad understanding of the hospice mission are a resource that no other software system trainer can provide.
Chief Financial Officer
Benton received a bachelor’s degree in Business from Mississippi State University and has decades of experience in business startups, acquisitions and mergers. Benton was instrumental in helping Leo form mumms Software in 1989. After leaving mumms Software, Benton founded the first Internet service provider in northwest Florida in 1993. Retired since 1998, Benton came back to mumms Software in 2010 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer for mumms Software.
Chief Administration Officer
Cori has been a part of the mumms Team since 2007. With over a decade of experience in business administration, marketing and sales, she has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the mumms organization. Prior to mumms, she was Director of Marketing and Communications for Special Olympics Louisiana. She has a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism and a Masters in Organizational Communication with a concentration in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Chief Information Officer
Tim Blackmon is a technology-centric executive with an operational and financial acumen that he has acquired through many entrepreneurial ventures. Tim has spent the past 25 years building enterprise software applications and products in the healthcare, insurance and finance domains. He has served as an individual contributor, architect, and executive. He specializes in agile software engineering best practices with global delivery components. He has a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Engineering Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Vice President of Business Development
Mark Bellamy studied English Language and American Literature at Lees-McRae College and the University of South Carolina. He worked for nearly three decades in providing high precision, close tolerance components to OEM’s in the Aviation, Department of Defense Armament, and Nuclear Power Generation industries based in the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2000, he joined the mumms Sales Team. Mark continues to be a crucial mumms Representative for business development, promoting the company’s customer-centric services, and cultivating B2B relationships in support of the Hospice mission.
Vice President of Corporate Strategy
Brad brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the mumms team and holds a business degree in Information Systems for Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. His focus has been in information technology, operations, and financial departments for multi-specialty clinics, home health agencies, DME companies and multi-state hospice companies. As a subject matter expert standing at the intersection of technology and hospice operational experience, Brad is uniquely qualified to align Hummingbird development to surpass industry needs and prove its worth to existing and future clients.

Shelia Adams Clinical Liaison
Shelia Adams is a certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, and has been a Registered Nurse for over thirty years. In her seventeen years of hospice experience, she has served as Site Administrator, Clinical Educator, Compliance Officer and Vice President for hospice agencies ranging in size, at locations across the country. Shelia has assisted several start-ups, mid size and large multi-site hospices, with essential functions such as regulatory compliance, clinical processes, and hospice administration. Shelia’s accomplishments include developing a hospice-specific Clinical Education Program, a Clinical Competency Program and co-authoring a comprehensive resource manual for Physicians and Nurses.
Julia Hayes Trainer
Julia has 24 years of experience as a registered nurse and a passion for education and end-of-life care. Her work in hospice ranges from a nurse in the field to director of clinical operations for a multi-state hospice. She holds a certification as a hospice and palliative care administrator and a JACHO accreditation and has extensive experience in quality/compliance and start-up hospices.
Patti Hogan Director of Technical Support
Prior to joining mumms Software in 2000, Patti studied Management Information Systems at Louisiana State University. Patti’s hospice experience is based on a career of daily contact with hospice organizations across the United States and in Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands, and Guam. Patti gained first-hand experience as an owner of a hospice. Her years of experience have given her a keen understanding of the unique needs of hospice and palliative care facilities. Patti was asked to use this unique understanding of hospice and her innate dedication to customer satisfaction to redesign and upgrade mumms Customer Support Services. She now leads mumms user support and quality assurance effort, and is central to the communications between mumms Users and mumms Engineering Staff.
Jill Croy Director of Customer Experience
Jill has over 20 years experience as an administrative professional, spanning several industries as well as previous business ownership. At mumms, she works directly with the executive team and oversees purchasing, special projects, implementation setup, and the administrative staff. Jill's foresight, organizational skills and ability to streamline processes keeps the mumms office running optimally. In her spare time solving cryptograms feeds her obsession for putting things in the right order!
Chelsea York Sr. Account Manager
Chelsea joined the mumms team in 2013 and has worked in various departments including Administration, Sales, and Marketing. She found that she was most passionate about working directly with our customers to ensure their complete satisfaction, and her outgoing personality paired with strong communication and customer service skills made her a natural fit for this role. Originally from Northern Virginia, Chelsea visited New Orleans in 2007 and loved it so much she moved to the Crescent City in 2008. She enjoys the local music scene, the variety of festivals and events, and, most of all, the food!

Jeff Ivey Director of Engineering
Jeff brings 20 years of software development experience to the engineering team. He has architected and developed Java Enterprise and .Net applications across many verticals, including the airline, banking, marketing, insurance and medical industries. He has track record of managing and delivering projects on time and on budget. Jeff holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelors in Computer Science.
Deepak Rathee Director of Project Management
Deepak brings 13 years of experience in Project and Program Management to the mumms team. He holds a Masters Degree in both Computer Science and Business Administration. He’s a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certified Scrum Master (CSM). Along with Program Management, Deepak oversees third party software procurements and vendor relationship management. He has vast experience in offshore teams management, and he is more inclined towards the idea of virtual teams. Prior to joining mumms, he worked as a consultant playing various roles from Technical Team Lead, Project Manager, Delivery Manager and Technical Relationship Manager for clients including Rosettastone, IBM, Air Canada, ABN AMRO Bank, European Commission,and Michael Page International. Deepak enjoys working endless hours to help the development teams build a robust and cutting edge software product.
Rosie O'Neill Data Architect
Rosie brings over 20 years of experience in Data technologies to the mumms team. She specializes in Enterprise Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics. She is thrilled to be living and working in her hometown of New Orleans after spending several decades in Silicon Forest. Prior to joining mumms, she consulted for companies such as Microsoft, Nike, Hewlett-Packard, Getty Images, and Standard Insurance. Rosie oversees the governance, integrity and security of data, where she is building a core competency center for excellence in hospice data analytics. She holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Utah State University and a Bachelor's degrees in Quantitative Business Analysis from LSU.
Candice Quates Engineering Manager
For over a decade, Candice Quates has worked with mumms in different development roles. In addition to healthcare software, Candice has worked on software to support health and safety systems for the offshore oil industry and conducted academic research in information security, resulting in three published papers. She has a degree in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans.
